I am a native English speaker living in California, currently learning Hawaiian and hoping to use this platform for Hawaiian practice! Also some Spanish and German.

Pronouns: ʻO ia — yes Hawaiian is largely gender neutral, isn’t that awesome? In English, she/her will do the job, but what I really want is for English to grow to accept gender neutral pronouns as the default. Won’t it be nice when “he” and “she” become almost as rare as “thou”?
